San Diego

Just received an email from Mark. They have no power in San Diego because a transmission line running from Arizona to California failed Thursday and power could remain out through most of Friday.  I hope you are all ok over there and you get your power back real soon.

We were having trouble finding a place to stay in Townsville because a lot of places are fully booked due to the school holidays.  However, R and I googled accommodation in Townsville last night and have found a lovely place to stay.  The lady sounded really friendly over the phone, so I am looking forward to a good experience.  Kt has already booked airline tickets for Kz to come and stay with us for a few nights over the school holidays.  She really does not like vacation care and who could blame her really.  So at 11 years old she is taking a flight unattended and I have to pick her up at the airport. I am already planning some wonderful things to do and see and we will have such fun.

I still have lots of packing to do and even K has sent me her list of things I need to do before I go. 

This is Mr Turkey from the wonderful Bungadoo Country Cottage.  He just loves children and will happily make his gobbling noise for ever as long as the chidren make the noise back to him. He really loves their company and follows them about.
