A Quick Trip Down

On Friday we took a quick drive down to Kilkivan to take some stuff (for want of a better description) and to collect our trailer and some cardboard cartons for packing.

Our move is getting closer and with a bit of luck we will be moving out of the managers unit in just over a weeks time.

We took Enzo with us for a drive. 2 reasons. Firstly he loves to be with us and loves coming in the car.  Secondly he is going a bit stir crazy not being able to get outside and stretch his legs with a good run. If we left him here at the motel he would torment Elmo and try to climb over the gate to get out. Which he can do being such a clever cat.

Relaxing in his favourite spot.
After checking out the garden with us and generally running around letting off steam he settled into his favourite spot where he can watch all the little honeyeater birds getting the nectar from the grevilleas.

Very pretty little birds and singing away happily. It is so relaxing just sitting, watching and listening.

In the distance I could hear a tractor busily working away and he was making hay. Those big round bales.  After a while there were quite a few of them dotted around his paddock. The weather forecast was for rain so I am pleased he got it done before the rain came.

It is a bit hard to pick out the tractor, but he is right there in the middle. Yes, he is!

Back to Gayndah we came. The Fire and Rescue training which was booked in for this weekend has been cancelled, so we might be able to get onto some packing instead.

Bye for now. Will be back soon.
